Lithuania’s Latest Military Aid to Ukraine Arrives, Including Loaders and Anti-Drone Systems
On August 28, Ukraine received a new military aid package from Lithuania, which included loaders, anti-drone systems, and folding beds for its armed forces.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.
The ministry noted that in response to Ukraine's requests this year, Lithuania has already submitted:
155-mm ammunition;
M577 armored personnel carriers;
M113 armored personnel carriers;
anti-drone systems;
winter equipment and clothing;
ammunition for the "Karl Gustav" anti-tank grenade launcher;
remote detonation system RISE-1;
generators;
disassembled parts of the L-39ZA "Albatros" light attack aircraft;
loaders;
trailers;
folding beds.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Lithuania has provided Ukraine with military aid worth more than €647 million. Lithuania's total support to Ukraine has already exceeded €1 billion.
Previously, on August 15, loaders, trailers and folding beds arrived in Ukraine as part of Lithuania's military support to the Ukrainian army.
