Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups are reportedly carrying out raids in front-line cities under the guise of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the acting press officer of the 33rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, Nazar Voitenkov.

According to Voitenkov, Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups, posing as Ukrainian Armed Forces units, move through frontline cities and inquire about residents' locations. They then conduct precise strikes on specific houses.

"There are still more than a thousand residents in Kurakhove  who are risking their lives because the city is under constant shelling. Guided aerial bombs, MLRS, and artillery are flying here. FPV drones attack both civilian and military vehicles," said Voitenkov. “Russians don't care where they shoot, for them it's just a shelling zone. We don't understand what's going on in the heads of the locals, what are they waiting for.”

He stressed that it would have been much easier for the Ukrainian army if all civilians evacuated.

Previously, the State Border Service of Ukraine reported that the number of Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups on the border had decreased, concentrating on mining the area. At the same time, Russian forces are intensively shelling the northern border regions of Ukraine.
