Ukrainian and Brazilian FMs Discuss Global Impact of Russian Aggression

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held talks with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira on October 17, focusing on the far-reaching effects of Russian aggression against Ukraine on the global economy, energy, and food security. The two ministers also discussed ongoing efforts to secure a just and lasting peace.

Ukraine' has recently urged Brazilian authorities to enforce the international warrant for Putin's arrest if he makes an appearance at the upcoming G20 summit in Brazil next month on November 18-19.
Earlier, Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva promoted his peace plan, co-developed with China, at the UN General Assembly on September 24, despite Ukraine already rejecting it as "destructive."
