Ukrainian Security Service Destroys Long-Range Radar System in Russia
Ukraine reports the destruction of a Nebo-U radar system in Bryansk Region, Russia, which was capable of monitoring the skies up to 700 km deep into Ukraine.
Sources within the Special Security Service (SBU) report that this complex helped Russia identify Ukrainian weapons and provided support for the launch of guided missiles in the Ukrainian border area. The $100 million radar system was targeted by seven kamikaze drones.
This incident is part of a series of operations targeting Russian radar systems. One such strike involved the destruction of a similar facility in the Belgorod region. Another recent operation targeted and successfully struck a Kasta-2E2 radar system near the temporarily occupied city of Berdiansk.
