On June 21, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

Zelenskyy shared the news on Twitter, thanking Duda for his “active support of the Peace Summit” and their plan to involve more countries in the Final Communiqué.

“We also talked about the good progress our teams are making on a bilateral security agreement under the G7 framework and discussed some regional security challenges,” Zelenskyy mentioned.

This conversation came right after Ukraine and Poland wrapped up their final negotiations on a bilateral security agreement. Ukraine has been busy strengthening its security ties, having recently signed 17 agreements with various countries, including all G7 members.
