Olena Tolkachova
Commander of the “Angels” Patronage Service
Olena Tolkachova, callsign “Haika,” is a commander of the “Angels” Patronage Service and a servicemember of Ukraine’s 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
In 2014, Tolkachova joined the Azov Regiment (now Brigade) and founded the Patronage Service, a unique medical and volunteer unit supporting wounded soldiers and the families of the fallen. In 2022, the Patronage Service officially gained the status of a charitable foundation, with hospitals in Kyiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and surrounding regions.
The foundation helps with treatment, prosthetics, burials, and family support—serving not only Azov Brigade fighters but also other units.
