The DELTA battlefield management system has been deployed across all levels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, verifying more than 130,000 destroyed or damaged enemy targets since its launch, according to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on his Telegram channel on October 8. He said about 25% of those verified targets were enemy personnel.

“The introduction of DELTA gave our Armed Forces a full legal basis for its use and turned it into a genuine digital weapon,” Shmyhal wrote. “This Ukrainian system allows the military to act faster, more accurately, and in coordination.”

The prime minister noted that DELTA’s automatic reporting and analytics functions have expanded. Reconnaissance units can now report targets over 20 kilometers from the contact line, and new incentives have been introduced for reconnaissance teams. The system also supports logistics missions performed by ground robotic complexes.

According to Shmyhal, DELTA is bringing Ukraine closer to a data-driven model of warfare, where analytics and real-time information from the battlefield are integral to decision-making.

He added that AI-powered automatic target detection now identifies 70% of unique enemy equipment units in an average of 2.2 seconds, with work underway to introduce night detection capabilities.

Shmyhal called DELTA “a symbol of Ukrainian technological resilience” and said its success “sets new standards for our defense partners.”

Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine received a formal request from a NATO member to export the Delta battlefield information system, with export models under consideration following successful interoperability tests.
