Canada Announces New Military Aid Package to Ukraine For More Than $350 Million

During the NATO Summit in Washington, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau condemned the recent Russian missile attack on Ukraine and announced a new military aid package to Ukraine, valued at more than $350 million (500 million Canadian dollars).

Trudeau underscored his nation's commitment to offering essential medical aid to the victims of the Russian attack on the Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv. Additionally, he announced a new supplementary military assistance package to Ukraine totaling CAD 500 million.

"It is very important for our people to hear this. Thank you for your help, for the additional defense package. It will strengthen our heroes on the battlefield," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

In addition, the leaders discussed Kyiv's defense needs and coordinated cooperation within the fighter coalition.
