Colonel Alexei Kolomeitsev, head of the 924th State Center for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles of the Russian Ministry of Defense, was reported killed during a special operation carried out by a local resistance movement in coordination with Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR). Sources from Ukrainian military intelligence confirmed that the operation took place on the night of September 27.

Kolomeitsev was engaged in training Russian specialists in the use of drones.
According to Suspilne, Kolomeitsev was involved in training Russian personnel in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), particularly the operators and support staff for Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
According to Ukrainian intelligence sources, the resistance movement is expanding its activities both within Russia and beyond its borders. Every individual implicated in military aggression against Ukraine is considered a target, regardless of their position, age, gender, or location.
