Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,180 Troops and 54 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost 1,180 personnel and 54 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on the morning of April 29.
According to the latest figures, total Russian combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, are estimated at around 1,328,820 personnel.

Additional losses include two tanks, three armored fighting vehicles, and two air defense systems. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 1,775 operational-tactical drones and 245 vehicles and fuel tankers over the same period.
Overall, Russia’s total losses now include 11,894 tanks, 24,486 armored vehicles, and 40,825 artillery systems, along with 1,356 air defense systems and more than 262,000 drones.
The General Staff said 189 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day.

Russian forces also carried out 84 airstrikes, dropping 234 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they launched 8,409 attack drones and conducted 3,019 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 42 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.
Earlier, reports emerged that at least 2,000 servicemen from temporarily occupied Crimea fighting in the Russian forces were killed since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
