Drones Attack Engels City, Where Russian Bombers Are Based

On the morning of August 26, the Russian cities of Saratov and Engels were attacked by drones, Russian media reports. Engels hosts an airfield where TU-95 strategic bombers are stationed, and at the time of the attack, 11 of these bombers had just taken off, likely preparing to launch cruise missiles at Ukraine.

The Monday drone strike was confirmed by the Governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin.
