Erdoğan: “Peace Table Will Be Set Again in Türkiye to End Bloody War”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed optimism that Ukraine and Russia could eventually reach an agreement to end the ongoing war, adding that Türkiye is ready to play a role in facilitating dialogue.
As Hurriyet reported on July 28, Erdoğan emphasized Türkiye’s continued diplomatic efforts amid regional instability.

The Turkish leader noted that Ankara has consistently promoted a position in favor of peace in Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. He recalled that during a previous round of negotiations held in Istanbul, both sides had agreed on a new prisoner exchange.
“As the negotiation table was once set in Istanbul, the peace table will once again be set in Türkiye—and this bloody war will come to an end,” Erdoğan stated.
Previously, it was reported that at the IDEF 2025 defense exhibition in Istanbul, Türkiye, two Ukrainian groundbreaking unmanned aerial vehicles were presented, each showing the advancements in drone technology for military and strategic purposes: the Cetus-X from an undisclosed manufacturer and Ukraine’s Chaklun-B 2.0 [Eng. “Wizard” – ed.], developed by Spets Techno Export.
