The European Commission allocates a loan of €35 billion for Ukraine as part of the G7 promise.

This was stated by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen on her X social media account.

“Relentless Russian attacks means Ukraine needs continued EU support. The @EU_Commission will provide a loan of up to 35 billion euros to Ukraine as part of the G7 pledge,“ von der Leyen wrote.

The EU is preparing to provide Ukraine with new loans worth up to €40 billion by the end of the year, regardless of the participation of the US, writes the Financial Times.
