On June 26, 2024, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine presented the multimedia exhibition “The Will to Win” at the Gulliver Shopping Mall in Kyiv. Organized with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the exhibition is dedicated to showcasing Ukraine’s participation in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Olena Kovalska, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, inaugurated the exhibition, emphasizing Ukraine’s resilience amidst significant challenges. She noted that despite efforts to undermine Ukraine’s presence at this year’s Olympics, Ukrainian athletes are determined to compete. Kovalska highlighted the loss of sports facilities and casualties among Ukrainian athletes due to the ongoing war.

The exhibition features stories of Ukrainian athletes who continue training and preparing for the Olympics amid adversity. It aims to underscore Ukraine’s unwavering determination and resilience in the face of difficult circumstances.

Key figures from Ukraine’s sports community, including Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidnyi and President of the National Olympic Committee Vadym Hutsayt, emphasized the importance of sports in Ukrainian national identity and the role of athletes as ambassadors of Ukraine on the world stage.

The “The Will to Win” exhibition includes a multimedia display of photographs and short documentaries, illustrating the extraordinary willpower and perseverance of Ukrainian athletes despite personal losses and the challenges posed by the ongoing conflict. The initiative is a collaborative effort involving various Ukrainian institutions and organizations, aimed at highlighting Ukraine’s commitment to sports and its athletes' spirit of determination.
