Germany Unveils New Military Aid Package for Ukraine, Including 22 Leopard Tanks

On September 19, the German government provided Ukraine with a new package of military aid, including 22 Leopard 1A5 tanks and 3 Cheetah self-propelled anti-aircraft guns.

This was stated in a press release published on the website of the German government.

The military aid package will include:

  • 22 Leopard 1A5 tanks;

  • 3 Cheetah self-propelled anti-aircraft guns;

  • 22 vehicles with mine protection (MRAP);

  • 2 TRML-4D radars;

  • 5 all-terrain vehicles Bandvagn 206;

  • 8 Zetros gasoline trucks;

  • 6 WISENT 1 demining machines;

  • 30 Vector UAVs;

  • 20 RQ-35 UAVs;

  • 20 Sonobot 5 surface drones;

  • 12 Songbird UAVs;

  • 6 Hornet XR UAVs;

  • 2 cars for border protection;

  • demining equipment;

  • 2 self-defense systems for AMPS helicopters;

  • 1 million cartridges for small arms;

  • 10 MG3 machine guns;

  • 112 vehicles (trucks, etc.);

  • 1 all-terrain vehicle Warthog;

  • 3 Biber bridge pavers;

  • 1 DACHS armored engineering vehicle;

  • 16 ground surveillance radars;

  • 61 thousand 155-mm caliber ammunition.
