Hungarian FM Szijjártó to Attend Summit on Peace for Ukraine in Switzerland

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, attending an economic forum in St. Petersburg, Russia, announced that Hungary will take part in the upcoming Peace Summit in Switzerland.

As reported by Telex, Szijjártó stated that Hungary will be represented at the ministerial level, with his personal attendance.

He expressed disappointment over Russia’s exclusion from the summit, however, respecting Switzerland’s peace efforts, Hungary will participate at the ministerial level.

Szijjártó highlighted Hungary’s commitment to peace, affirming its readiness to engage in peace-related initiatives.

Previously, Szijjártó indicated Hungary’s hesitation to join the Summit on Peace for Ukraine without Russia’s invitation.
