"Greetings to everyone from China. In order to develop contacts between the leaders of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China, I am making the first visit of a Ukrainian high-ranking official to China since the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Kuleba also clarified that the program of his visit includes negotiations with his Chinese colleague Wang Yi regarding achieving a fair peace in Ukraine.

"We must avoid competing peace plans. It is very important that Kyiv and Beijing conduct a direct dialogue and exchange of positions," the Minister added.
