Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis and Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski arrived in Ukraine on Friday, September 13.

On the evening of September 12, Sikorski met with Lviv’s mayor, Andrii Sadovyi, as reported by the Polish politician on social media platform X.
Together, they laid flowers at the memorial plaque for the victims of the Russian missile strike on September 4.
Sikorski stated that Russia struck another civilian target in Lviv on September 4, marking yet another war crime.
"I want to announce that we reaffirm our commitment, following the proposal of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, to rebuild the building and the school indicated by the Lviv City Hall with Polish funds, in solidarity with Ukraine, which is fighting heroically," said the Polish Foreign Minister.
Sikorski also called on NATO and the entire democratic world to accelerate the delivery of weapons, especially air defense and missile defense systems.

Prior to this, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda announced that Lithuania plans to supply Ukraine with 2 tons of 155-mm ammunition through the European Defence Agency’s procurement system, with an additional 10 tons expected by December through a Czech initiative. Vilnius is also considering the possibility of purchasing short-range air defense systems for Ukraine.
