Russia’s missile strike on Lviv has resulted in at least 7 deaths and 47 injuries, including 3 children. Ongoing rescue efforts are underway.

On September 4, Russia launched a missile attack on Lviv, Ukraine. A series of explosions occurred in the city during an air raid warning, causing significant damage to residential buildings.

As a result of the attack, at least seven people were killed, including three children, and 53 people have been injured.

“Residential buildings were damaged in Lviv as a result of enemy shelling. All specialized services were dispatched to the scene,” Kozytskyi stated.

More than 50 houses were damaged, with residents from six of these homes being displaced.

“Debriefings are ongoing. If we talk about the objects themselves, then more than 50 objects have been damaged in the city of Lviv. This is a historical heritage, the heart of our city,” said the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi.

“Two schools are definitely not working today, and two medical institutions were damaged. I won’t even start on the number of blown windows. We will evacuate people from six buildings as soon as the rescuers give the go-ahead. There are a lot of injuries.”
