According to ASTRA, Ukrainian drones launched a combined attack on the Rostov region, targeting one of Russia’s military training grounds. The attack reportedly resulted in significant damage to the Kadamovsky training site, located in the village of Persiyanovsky, near Novocherkassk, on December 22.

At least four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) struck the military complex, triggering a fire and subsequent ammunition detonation at the site. No casualties among Russian personnel have been confirmed at this time.

The Kadamovsky training ground is part of the Southern Military District of Russia and has been undergoing expansion since 2016, which includes the development of residential infrastructure.

The site is home to several units, including the 150th Guards Motorized Rifle Division, which consists of command units, tank regiments, reconnaissance battalions, communication units, and logistical support. Other units from the division are stationed in nearby towns such as Millerovo and Kuzminka.

Additionally, sources within emergency services reported that a missile was shot down over the Millerovo military airfield during the same day. Preliminary reports indicate no damage or casualties from this incident.

Earlier, Russian forces were conducting training for mercenaries from African countries and Cuba at a military site in Crimea. The training ground, located in Sevastopol’s Gagarinsky district, is under the control of the 810th Marine Brigade.

Foreign recruits were observed receiving military training there, while Russian children from the Yunarmiya youth military group were reportedly used as human shields during firing drills to protect soldiers and mercenaries from Ukrainian strikes.
