Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda and Latvian Prime Minister Evika Siliņa arrived in Kyiv on September 11 to participate in the Crimean Platform summit.

During his visit, Nausėda will meet with Ukrainian officials and engage in discussions focused on enhancing military, political, humanitarian, and financial support for Ukraine, as well as deliberations on Ukraine’s aspirations to join the European Union and NATO.

“I have just arrived in Kyiv. It’s great to be back and meet my dear friend Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a show of solidarity with Ukraine. Military and economic support for Ukraine is crucial for protecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Nausėda said.

More foreign leaders are expected to visit Ukraine later today as the country hosts the fourth Crimean Platform summit, an international forum dedicated to coordinating efforts for the liberation of Crimea from Russian occupation. The summit will take place in Kyiv.
