Mykhailo Kohan Claims Bronze Medal in Hammer Throw at the Olympics 2024

Ukraine’s medal count continues to rise at the 2024 Olympic Games. Mykhailo Kohan has claimed the bronze medal in the hammer throw with a best attempt of 79.39 meters.

This marks the third medal for the Ukrainian team today, bringing the nation’s total to an impressive two gold, one silver, and three bronze medals. Ukraine currently holds the 17th position in the overall medal standings.

Earlier this evening, the Ukrainian Olympic team gained 2 medals: Iryna Herashchenko and Yaroslava Mahuchikh secured bronze and gold medals respectively in the women’s high jump.
