The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has no information on whether a Russian delegation will be present at the meeting between Ukrainian and U.S. representatives in Saudi Arabia on March 12.

This was reported by RBC on March 7, citing Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi.

According to him, the meeting’s agenda includes Ukrainian-American relations, strategic partnership, and its further development. The central topic will be the “path to peace.”

“We have no information suggesting that Russians will be present. We have not received any such reports and proceed on the assumption that the meeting in Saudi Arabia will be a bilateral Ukrainian-American consultation, discussion, and dialogue. There is no indication that any Russian representatives plan to attend,” Tykhyi stated.

On March 6, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed his upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia, where he will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and engage in discussions with American partners.

On February 28, Zelenskyy arrived in Washington for his first meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. The two countries were expected to sign an agreement on mineral resources, which was canceled following a heated exchange during the meeting in the Oval Office.
