North Korean General Injured in Ukrainian Strike, WSJ Reports
A high-ranking general of the Korean People's Army (KPA) was injured in a Ukrainian strike in the Kursk region, reported The Wall Street Journal on November 21.
This incident marks the first known case of a senior North Korean military official being wounded during the Russia against Ukraine war, based on information from Western unnamed authorities, according to WSJ.
The source did not provide details about the circumstances of the general's injury, and the identity of the wounded commander remains undisclosed.
Previously, a missile strike on November 20 in Russia's Kursk region killed 18 Russian servicemen and injured 33 others, including three North Koreans, Russian media reported.
