In recent weeks, over 70 drones and more than 30 Russian cruise missiles have been recorded flying near Ukrainian nuclear power plants, according to Energoatom, the Ukrainian state-owned nuclear company.

“These actions by Russia pose an unprecedented threat not only to Ukraine but to the entire continent. No other country in the world has created such threats to nuclear facilities,” Energoatom wrote.

Energoatom is providing information about each of these incidents to the relevant authorities for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to send notes to the International Atomic Energy Agency and inform domestic and international organizations.

“We expect a strong reaction and condemnation of the actions of the Russian aggressor. The international community must force Russia to stop creating threats to Ukraine's nuclear stations,” emphasized Energoatom Chief Petro Kotin.
