Polish President Andrzej Duda Visits Kyiv for Ukraine’s Independence Day

Polish President Andrzej Duda has arrived in Kyiv to participate in the 33rd anniversary celebrations of Ukraine’s Independence. The Polish leader arrived by train, as reported by the Polish President’s Office on social media.

According to Polish media, the visit was not announced in advance due to security concerns. This is the fifth visit by the Polish President to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022.

President Duda is expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss current issues in bilateral cooperation.

Official confirmation of the visit was also provided through video footage released by the Polish President’s Office.
