Pozhmashina Introduces New Armored Vehicle for Ukraine’s Demining Efforts

Pozhmashina, a Ukrainian manufacturer of fire, agricultural, and specialized machinery, has introduced a new armored vehicle designed for humanitarian demining, according to Autocenter on April 5.
The vehicle is built on an all-wheel-drive chassis of the medium-duty Isuzu FTS34, but it features an original cab, with a hood configuration. The hood provides additional protection for the crew in case of a landmine explosion.

A retractable armored tray for transporting explosives is mounted on the chassis, while a small crane assists with loading and unloading. For easier access to the cargo compartment, the vehicle is equipped with a rear hydraulic ramp.
The vehicle’s right side includes a compartment for special equipment, and it is expected to be used by the State Special Transport Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Detailed specifications of the new demining machine are expected to be released shortly.
Pozhmashina’s earlier projects include the PM-L demining machine, developed in May 2024.
Earlier, the British-made Ferret Mk1, one of the smallest armored vehicles in the world, was spotted in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
