Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov threatened "blood feud" to deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation for plotting his assassination.

This was reported by Reuters citing Russian state media TASS.

"There are witnesses, there are people from whom they tried to commission, whom they asked how much they would take for the order," Kadyrov said during a meeting of Chechen security officials.

"If they do not prove otherwise, I will officially declare a blood feud," Kadyrov said.

Recently, Kadyrov also proposed sending residents of the Chechen Republic to war against Ukraine. This concerns those who commit administrative violations, in particular, violate traffic rules.

"From now on, conversations with them will be short. If you don't respect the law, either go to jail for the maximum term or sign a contract and go to the SVO zone. There, show the enemy your bravery, audacity and recklessness," Kadyrov wrote on social media.

In June of this year, the EU Council adopted the 14th package of sanctions against Russia which included 116 individuals and legal entities, in particular the mother of the head of Chechnya, Aimani Kadyrova.

Kadyrov has recently accused Elon Musk of remotely disabling a Tesla Cybertruck that he claimed to have received as a gift from the tech billionaire last month.
