Rare Footage Shows Ukrainian Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Unit Launching Multiple Chaklun-V UAVs at Night, Video

Rare footage capturing massive night launches of Chaklun-V long-range strike UAVs by Ukraine’s 14th Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Brigade has emerged, according to Colonel GS, a Ukrainian military-focused platform, on May 13.

The footage shows launches directed at multiple sites across the Russian Federation and highlights the strategic use of these UAVs.

The Chaklun-V UAV, a key asset in Ukraine’s aerial warfare strategy, is designed for long-range strikes, emphasizing Ukraine’s efforts to enhance its precision strike capabilities. In the footage, two additional UAVs are lined up, ready for launch after each catapult.

In related news, Polish company Advanced Protection Systems (APS) has integrated Ukrainian-made acoustic sensors into its SKYctrl anti-drone system. The SKYctrl system, designed to detect, track, and neutralize UAVs, is customizable with various modifications to meet specific customer needs.
