Russia Launches 302 Attacks on Sumy Region in Single Day

On Thursday, May 9th, Russia launched a massive 302 attacks across 60 separate assaults on the Sumy Region, targeting 11 border communities. This information was reported by the Sumy Region Military Administration.

Affected towns include Krasnopillia, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Khotin, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Novoslobidske, Seredyna-Buda, Esman, and Putyvl. Russia employed a variety of weapons in these attacks: drones, guided bombs, rocket launchers, and artillery. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Russia’s attacks on the Sumy Region have intensified in recent months. Just days prior, on May 6th, Russian missiles and drones struck the region, including a critical high-voltage facility.
