Russia launched 103 drones at Ukraine overnight, with 8,755 foreign-made components identified in the wreckage, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In a statement shared on Telegram, Zelenskyy detailed the scale of recent assaults. Over the past week, Russia has deployed more than 630 strike drones, approximately 740 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 50 missiles of various types. These attacks involved over 50,000 components originating from countries around the world and subject to international sanctions.

“The pressure of sanctions on supply chains for foreign components remains insufficient,” Zelenskyy stated. “Russia continues to acquire the components and manufacturing tools it needs – almost globally – and uses them in the weapons it employs to terrorize Ukraine.”

Zelenskyy called for enhanced global cooperation in addressing the issue, highlighting the importance of tightening sanctions, bolstering air defense systems, securing long-range weapons, and increasing support for Ukrainian forces.

“These priorities will help protect our cities, villages, and positions on the frontline,” he added, expressing gratitude to international partners for their ongoing assistance.

The findings emphasize the need for stricter enforcement of global sanctions to address gaps in supply chains enabling the flow of critical components into Russia.
