Russian Attacks Zaporizhzhia With Guided Aerial Bombs, Ten Injured
On October 19, 2024, Russian forces launched guided aerial bomb strikes on the center of Zaporizhzhia, resulting in injuries and damage to buildings. The information was shared via Telegram by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Fedorov indicated that the assaults occurred on Saturday evening, with two strikes using guided aerial bombs (KABs) hitting central Zaporizhzhia. Initial reports confirmed one injury, but this number later increased to three as emergency services continued their response efforts.
The blasts caused significant damage to nearby structures, with debris impacting the surrounding area. Municipal services are currently engaged in recovery and clean-up operations.
Update 8:46 pm: Ten are reported injured, including two children: aged 9 and 13, according to an update provided by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Fedorov.
