Russian Forces Shell Ten Donetsk Settlements, Killing Six People and Injuring Four

Russian forces attacked ten settlements in the Donetsk region over the past 24 hours, killing six people and injuring four, the National Police reported on June 16.
Police recorded 3,038 Russian strikes targeting both frontline positions and residential areas across ten settlements, including the cities of Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, the settlement of Drobysheve, and the villages of Bahatyr, Bilokuzmynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Lozove, and Rubtsi.
A total of 21 civilian sites were damaged, among them 14 residential houses.
In Pokrovsk, Russian shelling killed two civilians and injured three more, damaging an apartment block.

In Kostiantynivka, drone and artillery strikes killed one resident, while in Bahatyr, artillery fire killed three people.
After midnight on June 16, Russia attacked six more settlements: Kramatorsk, Dobropillia, Sviatohirsk, Dmytro-Darivka, Novyi Donbas, and Starovarvarivka. One civilian was reported wounded in Dmytro-Darivka.
Ukraine’s police and security services have launched criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code for war crimes.
On June 12, Russian forces launched a wave of drones on Kharkiv overnight, igniting multiple fires and injuring at least 15 people, including four children.
