Russian Forces Strike Residential Building in Kharkiv With Guided Aerial Bombs, Killing Two
Russian forces launched a series of attacks on Kharkiv today, striking residential areas with six guided aerial bombs (KABs). The most severe impact occurred in Saltivskyi district, where two residents—a man and a woman, both 70 years old—were killed, and three others were injured.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed the damage, stating that 15 apartment buildings were affected. Emergency services and volunteers are working at the scene, and efforts to board up windows will begin this evening.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, provided additional details, noting that the strikes involved FAB-500 bombs. Another strike was reported in Cherkaska Lozova, though no casualties were reported there.
