
On August 17, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Sumy, striking a building, causing a fire and leaving significant damage. A residential area was targeted, and more than 10 civilian cars were destroyed. Two people have received medical assistance so far.

“There are many shattered windows, and several cars are on fire. The search for additional victims continues. The operational headquarters for disaster response is being deployed,” the Regional Military Administration Oleksii Drozdenko reported.
