Russian Guided Bomb Destroys Residential Building in Zaporizhzhia Region, Killing One Person

On the evening of January 1, Russian forces launched 11 airstrikes on Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in the death of a man and the destruction of a five-story residential building, reported by Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration on January 2.

The strikes were carried out with guided bombs (KABs) and completely destroyed the residential building.

“One man died. Rescuers recovered his body from under the rubble. The search-and-rescue operation lasted more than five hours,” Fedorov stated.

Earlier, Russia launched a drone attack on Kyiv, causing widespread damage and leaving two people dead and seven injured, including two pregnant women.
