Russian Soldier Sabotages Military Equipment, Destroys Critical Russian Vehicle on the Frontline, Video

A Russian soldier carried out a sabotage mission on the frontlines, destroying a key piece of military equipment belonging to Russian forces. The incident took place in the Donetsk direction, where the soldier set fire to a Russian BRDM (Armored Reconnaissance and Patrol Vehicle), completely destroying it.

According to a statement by the partisan group “ATESH,” which was shared via their Telegram channel, the Russian serviceman, who had joined the partisan movement, conducted a successful operation near the village of Novokaterynivka. The BRDM, which played a crucial role in reconnaissance and patrol missions, was rendered inoperable as a result of the attack.

“ATESH” noted that such sabotage actions are becoming more frequent within the Russian military, as more servicemen reportedly align themselves with the partisan group.

This is not the first time the “ATESH” movement has engaged in sabotage operations both on the frontlines and inside Russia. In previous incidents, partisans have targeted key logistical infrastructure. For instance, in June, a sabotage operation disrupted railway lines connecting Rostov-on-Don with the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol in Ukraine’s Donetsk region. In August, further sabotage efforts targeted a railway crucial to Russian military logistics in southern Ukraine, linking Rostov-on-Don with Mariupol via Berdyansk.
