The operation was disrupted through joint efforts by Ukraine’s Security Service counterintelligence department and the company’s internal team, preventing the leak of sensitive information and securing both production facilities and critical data.
TechEx also said that a series of countermeasures had been carried out over an extended period, including efforts aimed at feeding disinformation to the adversary.
“The enemy is playing a dirty and highly sophisticated game, and our own resources alone are no longer sufficient. Our security system has multiple layers, incorporates the latest updates, and relies on constant work with personnel—but we are not counterintelligence and do not have the same resources and capabilities,” the company said.
According to TechEx, the objective of the operation was to gain access to highly sensitive materials, including design documentation, engineering developments, logistics routes, supply chains, partner information, and data on Ukrainian Defense Forces units using the company’s products.
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) dismantled a Russian military intelligence agent network, preventing a series of planned high-profile assassinations in Ukraine.
According to the SBU, the operation resulted in the neutralization of a Russian assassin who attempted to resist arrest and was subsequently killed. In addition, over 10 other members of the agent network were detained.
