Russian Troops Open Fire on 3 Civilians in Apartment in Occupied Toretsk, Kill 2
On November 21, Russian military personnel entered a residential apartment in Toretsk, Donetsk region, and opened fire on three civilians.
According to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, two women were killed on the spot, while a man sustained injuries.
The injured man, who was in the apartment during the attack, suffered fractures to his shoulder and collarbone and is currently receiving medical treatment.
The incident is being investigated as a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Prosecutors are working to determine the full circumstances of the shooting.
Earlier this month, on November 10, Russian soldiers fatally shot a civilian woman near the village of Terny in the Lyman community, Donetsk region.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, the woman was walking along a street when troops opened fire, killing her instantly. Ukrainian authorities have launched a pre-trial investigation into the incident as a violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder.
