Russian Troops Roll Into Battle Flying US Flag on Captured American M113, Video

Russian propaganda channels have released a video showing armored vehicles advancing with both Russian and US flags.

According to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, the footage demonstrates the use of US symbols by Russian forces during their offensive operations.

The video appeared on pro-Kremlin platforms on August 18, a few days after the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

The caption claims the vehicle is a captured American M113 armored personnel carrier, reportedly filmed near Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Yermak stated that Russian forces are employing foreign symbols in their ongoing war, which includes strikes leading to civilian casualties.

Earlier, Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian-captured American M113 armored vehicle during fighting near Kotlyne in Donetsk region. The assault was repelled on a mined road under drone surveillance, resulting in the elimination of Russian personnel and multiple armored vehicles, including a BTR-82A.
