Slovenian President Honors Ukrainian Defenders

Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar visited Lviv where she commemorated fallen Ukrainian defenders and Slovenian soldiers who perished in World War I. During her visit to the memorial, she laid a wreath and paid respects to those who sacrificed their lives protecting Ukraine. The president also met with Maksym Kozytskyi, the Head of the Lviv Regional Administration, who acknowledged Slovenia’s solidarity with Ukraine amidst its ongoing challenges.

In Kyiv, Pirc Musar affirmed Ukraine’s right to independently determine when and under what circumstances to engage in negotiations with Russia. She underscored Slovenia’s support by announcing a humanitarian aid package of €5 million for Ukraine.
