Ukrainian Games Festival 2024, one of the largest celebrations of the Ukrainian gaming industry, runs from August 19 to August 26. This year’s festival offers a unique opportunity to dive into the world of Ukrainian games.

All activities are taking place on Steam, the online digital distribution service for computer games. You can check out the festival’s offerings at the following link: Ukrainian Games Festival 2024 on Steam.

The festival features a wealth of exciting announcements, including new releases from leading Ukrainian studios. Attendees can look forward to exclusive demos, game sales, and insights into upcoming projects.

A highlight of this year’s event is the spotlight on Ukraine’s rich gaming heritage, with a notable focus on the highly anticipated new installment of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. This iconic franchise is one of the most successful games developed in Ukraine, significantly influencing the first-person shooter genre.

However, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is not the only reason to celebrate. The festival showcases over 450 games, including both renowned hits and intriguing indie titles. This year’s event is 100 participants larger than last year’s, featuring massive game sales and free demos for over 100 projects, including more than 45 demos of upcoming games.

The festival is unveiling five new Ukrainian games:

- Armageddonica by Templar Order

- Boxville 2 by Triomatica Games

- Angelo and Deemon 2: Too Hell of a Quest by Specialbit Studio

- PockeDate! — Pocket Dating by Ternox

- Bloody Cleanup by Yehor Holyshko

For American gamers keeping an eye on global video game trends, this festival presents a unique chance to discover the freshest Ukrainian games and projects.

In addition to game announcements, the festival also serves as a platform for a significant charitable initiative. GTP Media has organized a fundraiser for 50 FPV drones to support the HUR units, aiming to raise 1.6 million UAH. Donors have the chance to win exclusive prizes, including festival-branded T-shirts and the opportunity to name the drones. As of August 19, nearly 400,000 UAH has already been raised.
