Strategic Glushkovo Bridge Destroyed in Kursk Region, Russian Media Reports
On the night of August 15, an attack was carried out on a bridge in the village of Glushkovo in the Kursk region. This bridge spans the Seim River.
Video footage of the damaged structure was published on Russian pro-war Telegram channels. The video shows damaged guardrails and deep craters left on the surface. The bridge is a crucial part of the region's logistics, prompting authorities to evacuate the entire Glushkovo region.
The video’s author claims that the bridge is being targeted for destruction. "We are at the Glushkovo bridge, where there have been major impacts. The bridge is being targeted for destruction. It might be HIMARS," he says.
Russian Telegram channels state that 27 settlements remain cut off and that 700 Russian troops could be at risk of encirclement.
