During visit to Ukraine, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy agreed on four cooperation agreements between the two countries. The agreements cover the medical, agricultural, humanitarian, and cultural sectors.

President Zelenskyy confirmed the agreement of the documents during a meeting with Modi in Kyiv. “Today, we have agreed on four documents during this historic visit of Prime Minister Modi,” Zelenskyy said. He clarified that the agreements relate to the medical sector, agricultural cooperation, humanitarian relations, and culture.

Zelenskyy also reported that a joint statement had been prepared “on building a strategic partnership between our countries, trade relations, and military-technical cooperation.” “All this should be strengthened,” the Ukrainian president added.

Earlier, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his first visit to Kyiv since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine. Earlier today, during the visit, Modi and President Zelenskyy paid tribute to the memory of children who died as a result of Russian aggression.

Zelenskyy emphasized: “Together with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we honored the memory of the children whose lives were taken by Russian aggression. Children in every country deserve safety. We must make it possible.”
