Ukraine and India Foreign Ministers Hold Talks on Further Bilateral Relations
On July 19, the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and India, Dmytro Kuleba and Subramanyam Jaishankar, engaged in their first conversation since Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Russia. Both ministers shared brief details about the conversation on social media.
Jaishankar commented, “This afternoon, I had a productive conversation with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba. We discussed the further development of our bilateral relations.”
Kuleba added, “Following my visit to New Delhi earlier this year and President Zelensky’s meeting with Prime Minister Modi in Italy, I discussed the continued advancement of Ukrainian-Indian bilateral relations with my Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.”
On June 14, during the G7 summit, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister Modi, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations, particularly concerning the operation of the Black Sea export corridor.
