On July 10, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel signed an Agreement on Security Cooperation between Ukraine and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

This was announced by President Zelenskyy.

“In Washington, a security agreement was signed between our states alongside Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel.

Luxembourg will continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine and will further support the protection of our people's lives. The agreement focuses on political and value-based interaction between our countries. Luxembourg supports sanctions against Russia, our continued strengthening in the European and Euro-Atlantic spheres—Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO—and also assists in the protection and restoration of our cultural heritage.

Thank you, Luxembourg, for choosing justice and peace!” Zelenskyy wrote.

This year, Luxembourg has allocated 80 million euros for defense assistance to Ukraine and will continue to provide support at this rate throughout the entire ten-year duration of the agreement. In total, since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Luxembourg has provided over 250 million euros in military support to Ukraine.
