President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Slovenia Robert Golob have signed an Agreement on Cooperation in the Sphere of Security and Long-Term Support between Ukraine and the Republic of Slovenia.

Slovenia has already provided Ukraine with 13 packages of military aid (including for 2024) and intends to maintain this level of support throughout the ten-year duration of the Agreement. The Republic of Slovenia also commits to meeting Ukraine's urgent needs to strengthen its security capabilities.

Slovenia will support Ukraine in training within the EU Military Advisory Mission to Ukraine (EUMAM). The countries will cooperate in seeking sources of funding to support projects in the Ukrainian defense industry.

Specific sections of the document address non-military support. In particular, Slovenia will allocate an additional €5 million for humanitarian aid, economic recovery, and the humanitarian program "Grain from Ukraine."

Furthermore, the agreement outlines deepened cooperation in information and cyber security, combating organized crime, intelligence and counterintelligence, as well as humanitarian demining.

The document clearly stipulates Slovenia's comprehensive support for Ukraine's future membership in the EU and NATO.
