Ukraine Establishes First Military Command in Kursk Region
Ukraine has established its first military command in the territories it controls in the Kursk region, reported the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
General Eduard Moskalyov has been appointed as its head.
“To maintain law and order and address the primary needs of the population in the controlled areas, a military command has been established. Major General Moskalyov has been appointed as its head,” said Syrskyi.
This announcement was made by Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi during a briefing at the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s headquarters on Thursday, August 15.
