Ukraine’s Intelligence Unveils Database on Russian UAV Manufacturers
Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) has launched a new database on its War & Sanctions portal , targeting Russian manufacturers of weapons and military equipment. The first category unveiled focuses on companies producing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), offering detailed profiles on their activities, associated firms, and the range of UAVs they produce.
The database also reveals data on foreign components used by these manufacturers and the specific parts found in the UAVs. HUR has urged international partners to step up sanctions, block the supply of critical components, and strengthen oversight to dismantle the operations of what it calls “manufacturers of death.”
The database currently includes 79 Russian enterprises involved in the production and supply chain of UAVs used in the war against Ukraine. Among the listed companies are:
Producers of Russian adaptations of Iranian UAVs "Shahed-136" (marketed as “Geran” and “Garpia”)
Zala Aero Group, part of the Kalashnikov Concern, producing "Lancet" loitering munitions and "Zala" reconnaissance drones
Producers of multipurpose UAVs, such as "Orion" and "Altair".
As well as FPV drone manufacturers, directly supplying their products to Russian units operating in Ukraine, organizing pilot schools in temporarily occupied territories, and modifying products for military use.
According to HUR, the database is expected to expand, with the addition of categories on missile manufacturers planned for the near future.
Previously, The Main Intelligence Directorate has published new databases on its War&Sanctions portal, releasing details on 238 Russian vessels identified as part of a shadow fleet of aging oil tankers.
