Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2 Drone Blows Up Russian Assault Boat in Black Sea, Video

A Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2 drone has destroyed a Russian high-speed assault boat carrying airborne troops that attempted to land on the Tendrivska Spit in the northern Black Sea, Ukraine’s Navy reported on September 3.
According to the Navy’s press service, the TB2 maritime drone dropped two precision-guided bombs on the vessel and a nearby group of Russian paratroopers.
The strike killed seven Russian soldiers and left four others wounded, the Navy said.
The Tendrivska Spit, a thin stretch of land off Ukraine’s southern coast, has become a staging point for Russian forces, who use it for surveillance and operations in the Black Sea.
Ukrainian officials said Moscow has installed relay stations there to extend the operational range of its reconnaissance and strike drones.
Earlier, Ukraine’s military intelligence service (HUR) struck a Russian warship armed with Kalibr cruise missiles in the Azov Sea.
The operation was carried out jointly by HUR’s Department of Active Operations and its special forces unit known as the “Prymary.” The target was a Project 21631 Buyan-M missile corvette, one of Russia’s Kalibr carriers, operating near the coast of Russian-occupied Crimea.
